Glue-laminated Timber: the low-carbon difference
Our Solar carports are built using engineered glulam timber rather than conventional steel structures. Glue-laminated wood offers high structural strength, which enables precise engineering and design in accordance with the Eurocodes.
Compared to metal, Glue-laminated timber (GLT) offers improved corrosion resistance, minimal maintenance, supports precise pre-fabrication, and during fire GLT keeps it load bearing capcity longer than steel.
Ground Screw Foundation: The concrete-free solution
By using ground screw foundations, the installation is fast, precise, and minimally disruptive. This approach significantly reduces site disturbance, labour time, and installation costs compared to concrete foundations.
Ground screws are fully reversible and require no curing time, allowing immediate structural assembly while eliminating the need for concrete. The result is an efficient foundation solution. adaptable, and aligned with sustainable construction practices.
