EV Charger Technology

Integrated Renewable EV Infrastructure

Innoventum EV charging technology is designed to integrate directly with our solar carport and hybrid renewable energy systems. By combining on-site solar generation, intelligent energy management, battery storage, and modern EV chargers, we create high-efficiency charging ecosystems for homes, workplaces, and public infrastructure.

Charging vehicles at the point of production eliminates transmission losses, reduces grid dependency, and increases the value of locally generated electricity.

Renewable generation, storage, and charging in one location transforms passive parking infrastructure into active climate infrastructure.

Fast Chargers

Fast chargers operate between 11 kW and 22 kW AC and are the most common choice for residential, workplace, and public installations.

  • A 11 kW chargercan fully recharge most EVs in 4-5 hours
  • A 22 kW chargercan reduce charging time to around 2 hours

Fast chargers are the preferred solution for our 2 cars carport and private use, as they can directly utilise on-site solar generation during the day while providing reliable charging capacity.

Rapid Chargers

Rapid chargers use direct current (DC) and typically operate at 50 kW, allowing most EVs to charge to 80% in around 40–50 minutes. These chargers are usually found at service stations and shopping center locations where quick turnaround is essential.

Ultra-Rapid Chargers

Ultra-rapid chargers deliver up to 400 kW DC, enabling EVs to reach 80% charge in as little as 15 minutes. While less common, they are increasingly deployed along motorways and major transport routes. These systems are best suited for high-capacity grid or hybrid energy setups.

Home EV Charging

Home EV charging is as easy as charging your phone. Simply Park your electric cars under the solar carport and plug in when you arrive home, and your vehicle charges from clean solar energy if available otherwise from the grid overnight — ready to go by morning. If you have a dynamic price contract from your electricity provider, the AI software will select when the best time is to charger your EVs to benefit from a lower cost energy. This seamless routine fits naturally into everyday life, removing the need for detours to public charging stations. It’s a smarter, more convenient way to power your mobility—combining practicality, comfort, and sustainability.

Workplace and Public EV Charging

EV chargers installed at workplaces, retail locations, and public car parks typically operate at 22 kW, providing around 100 km of range per hour. When combined with a solar carport, these chargers reduce grid dependency and lower operational energy costs while offering visible sustainability benefits. Retailers, offices, and commercial developments are increasingly adopting EV charging to support customers and employees.

Charger Connector Type 2

MOST COMMON: Type 2 chargers are the UK and European standard and support power outputs from 7 kW to 22 kW. They offer a strong balance between charging speed and accessibility and are the preferred option for solar-integrated EV charging systems.

CCS Type 2 stands for ‘Combined Charging System‘ – ‘combined’ because it uses a slow-charging Type 2 connector to build on. It adds two extra DC power lines, which can then run a higher voltage than the standard connector.

Type 1 chargers use a standard 230V AC supply and deliver approximately 2.3 kW, adding around 8–10 miles of range per hour. They are suitable for low-usage or overnight charging but are limited in speed (Phasing out product)

Consideration for selection

  • Vehicle compatibility
  • Daily driving and charging requirements
  • Available electrical capacity
  • Desired charging speed
  • Future scalability
  • Outdoor weather protection

HOME OWNERS, we have selected for you: SIGenergy technology for the 11kW & 22 kW AC or the new 25 kW DC (allowing V2H technology).

This new technology is engineered for the future and can delivers 25 kW bidirectional charging, positioning it as the intelligent energy hub between EVs, solar energy produced by the carport  and the home. Its advanced DC-coupled design allows vehicles to charge directly from solar power via a PV 2 EV bridge — maximizing efficiency and driving truly sustainable mobility.
