Why should I invest in wind and solar power?
Like other green energy sources, solar power offers numerous benefits when it comes to environmental impact. By investing in solar panels, a solar-powered carport, or a hybrid system from InnoVentum, you can reduce your carbon footprint by cutting down on carbon dioxide emissions and other toxic emissions that can have a negative impact on human health.
Almost all solar panels come with a 25-year warranty, which is a strong indication of their lifespan. In addition, regular maintenance of solar panels extends their lifespan. Regular maintenance is recommended.
When it comes to our hybrid on- or off-grid energy systems, the inverter comes with a warranty of 5 to 10 years, depending on the brand and model. Energy storage systems, such as batteries, come with a warranty of 1 to 10 years, depending on the brand and model.
Installing solar panels yourself can be a way to reduce the upfront cost. Some people choose to install the mounting racks and panels themselves and then have a certified electrician complete the installation.
Our small-scale wind turbines for homes, farms, and businesses are available as a DIY option thanks to the patented wooden tower, which can be erected without a crane.
By installing your own solar panels, a solar-powered carport, or one of our hybrid systems, you become a micro-producer of electricity. This requires that you notify your utility provider and sign a new contract.
The contract specifies both the purchase price for the property and the price per kWh sold back to the grid in the event of excess production. In order for the utility company to measure the electricity flowing to and from the grid, a new electricity meter must be installed; the utility company typically installs this at no additional cost.
An important part of calculating the return on an investment in solar power is determining how much you can earn from the locally generated energy that you sell back to the grid.
Carport with solar cells and solar panel systems
The benefits of InnoVentum’s solar-powered carport are as follows:
- Solar Carport lowers your electricity bills by reducing the amount of conventional energy you use, since you power your electric vehicle and home with renewable solar energy.
- Solar panels collect solar energy and convert it into electricity from the sun or wind (depending on which of our products best suits your energy needs). This means you have an independent and clean source of energy.
- Since the Solar Carport will lower your energy costs, provide secure parking, and serve as a charging station for your electric car, it means that the usable space is optimized to the fullest extent, unlike rooftop solar panels, for example.
- If you generate more wind and solar energy than you need, you can store it in your solar batteries or sell the surplus to the traditional grid.
Depending on your energy needs, there are a few Solar Carport options to consider.
Dimensions:
Our solar-powered carport is available in two models
- For private electric vehicles
- For electric work vehicles and vans
- It is also available in sizes ranging from two electric cars to enough to cover an entire parking lot. Only the available space limits the number of cars that can fit.
Benefits of investing in InnoVentum’s solar panels or hybrid systems for your property.
Yes, you will. It will be lower than it was before you invested in solar panels—exactly how much lower depends on the system or solar installation you choose.
Your electricity bill will be lower because
- You will purchase less energy because you will be using the electricity you generate yourself from solar, wind, or hybrid systems
- You can sell your excess solar power (the power you don’t use) back to the traditional power grid, which results in either: income per kWh or a credit on your existing electricity bill. You’ll work this out with your electricity provider.
The only way to avoid getting an electricity bill is to go completely off-grid with energy storage in the form of batteries, which we at InnoVentum can help you achieve. Off-grid means that you are not connected to a traditional power grid or electricity provider.
