Glued laminated timber: the climate-smart alternative

Our solar carports are constructed using glulam instead of traditional steel structures. Glulam offers high load-bearing capacity and allows for precise dimensioning in accordance with current Eurocodes.

Compared to steel, glulam offers improved corrosion protection, minimal maintenance, and high precision through prefabrication. In the event of a fire, the material undergoes a predictable charring process, which allows its load-bearing capacity to be designed and maintained over defined time periods.

Ground screw foundations: a concrete-free solution

Ground screw foundations enable quick and gentle installation with minimal impact on the ground.

Made of steel, often with recycled materials, they have a significantly lower carbon footprint than cast-in-place concrete foundations because cement-related CO₂ emissions are completely avoided.

The foundations are fully reversible and require no curing time, enabling immediate installation and providing an efficient, flexible, and more climate-optimized foundation solution.

Our solutions combine wood-based engineering with proven solar cell technology and are designed for long-term performance and full regulatory compliance.
